Why not take a stroll down Ellis Lane.
Named after Solomon Ellis, whose family began farming this area in the 1800's, Ellis Lane is the name of this rural suburb, a stones throw from Camden, and the name of the main road spanning the length of the suburb.
Surrounded by the Nepean River, which borders both sides of the suburb, Ellis Lane still feels very much like a rural community. As you drive down the road you will notice the large houses set on several acres and the market gardens which populate the river flats.
Despite being only a short distance from Camden, a drive down Ellis Lane feels like a drive through the country. Its a beautiful part of Camden and well worth the short trip.
