As part of the Berkshire Geobash festivities, please join us Monday 7/2/12 for an event at Hancock Shaker Village. This event will be held rain or shine from 10am till noon just outside of the Visitor’s Center. This will be a geosocial event with an opportunity to talk to a guide about the Shakers.
Also, for those geocachers who are interested, we have arranged for specially priced guided tours of the village. Tour times will be 10:15, 12:15 and 2:15. Cost will be $14/adult, $8/teen and under 12 free. Before and after the tour, cachers will be able to wander around the village on their own. There is a lot to see. You must preregister by emailing Fred’s Fault at rmr4103@verizon.net and telling him the number in the group plus your preferred tour time. This will be done on a first come first served basis so you might want to sign up early. If the tour times fill up we may reassign you to a different tour time.
