River Crossing Traditional Cache
KyleYankan: After visiting the site this morning, I found the geocache, in it's original location. However, recent construction made it impossible to get to without violating the law. Thanks for a good run everyone.

Powelton Ave Bridge's Old Abutments
This cache is located along the Schuykill River Trail, about a half mile below the end of the SRT Powertrail. I'm glad the trail didn't continue past the art museum, since there's so many great hiding location nearby.
This cache is designed to show you an bit of Philadelphia History. Formerly, before the Benjamin Franklin Pkwy, and the Spring Garden bridge, the closest access across the Schuylkill River was Powelton ave, which connected to I-76 here. The Abutments still stand, but across the river is now a trainyard, and various other highway on-ramps.
