Geocache Description:

Water tower #10 Danbury - this particular tower is well hidden from the road and even from the countryside surrounding the hill that it resides on. Although not the tallest point in Essex, it certainly dominates the area particularly with the church of St John on the top. The tower is an unusual octagonal shape and has a squat appearence similar to #2 Latchingdon, probably due to being fairly high up a hill.

The puzzle to obtain the final cache coordinates is in two parts - the first part involves going to this webpage HERE to obtain the letters in the list below.

  • Spheres used for water towers have symmetry in A directions
  • The minimum diameter of a water tower is 1B feet
  • The minumum height of a water tower is C0 feet
  • The world's first hyperboloid structure was built in 189D

And from the water tower gate, coordinates for which are at the top of the page:
084F 00E 0404

Cache is located at N51° 4A.0BC E000° 3E.D9F
