Nordre del av stranda på Ytre Storsandneset ved Åsheim i Grøtfjorden

Flotte sandstrender fins det flere av på yttersida av Kvaløya. Denne stranda på Ytre og Indre Storsandneset ved Åsheim på vestsiden av Grøtfjorden er én av dem. Den kan kanskje ikke måle seg mot Grøtfjordstranda på andre side av fjorden, men på fine sommerdager finner folk veien også til denne stranda. Den fineste delen av stranda finner du en del sørafor cachen, mellom Indre og Ytre Storsandneset. På en del av området, på selve Ytre Storsandneset, er det en del private oppstillingsplasser for campingvogner.

Cachen er en lock & lock-boks med følgende opprinnelig innhold: Loggbok, blyant, FTF-sertifikat og noen få små bytteting.

Beautiful sandy beaches, there are several on the outer part of Kvaløya. This is one of them. This beach is maybe not beautiful like "the Grøtfjord Beach" at the opposite side of the fjord, but at sunny days in the summer many people find the way here too. The finest part of the beach you find a bit south of the cache, between Indre and Ytre Storsandneset. At a part of the area, at Ytre Storsandneset, there are some private sites for caravans.

The cache is a lock & lock box. It contains initially log book, pencil, FTF certificate and a few small trading items.
