It's less than 1/2 mile from parking lot and the trail is pretty flat for walking. There are a few muddy spots in the shaded areas of the trail.
june 2024:
once again replacing the container (different brand hopefully the water resistance will last longer) and book etc
the new cache container is a black rectangular locking dry box...
recently the town has mowed the bamboo (Japanese knot weed?) and grass almost all the way to the highway bridge so the walking is much easier now
