The Lucky Dog Cache Traditional Cache

While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been down for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in Bicentennial Park. Please respect park hours when searching for the cache. This cache is hidden in memory of our dog Lucky who passed away May 7, 2011.

We miss our dog very much. Matt and I had him for 13 years and he meant the world to us. He loved being outdoors and going wherever Matt and I went. Lucky was with us when we began Geocaching and he loved running through the woods. WE ARE REQUESTING THAT THE FIRST TO FIND GOES TO SOMEONE WHO HAS A DOG WITH THEM, TAKES A PICTURE FOR PROOF, AND INCLUDES IT IN WHEN THEY LOG THEIR VISIT. Others are encouraged to take and log pictures as well of their dogs finding the cache. This cache is loaded with dog treats for all the dog cachers out there so feel free to take as many treats as you would like. There is also some things in there for the kids as well. Please make sure that all zip lock baggies are closed tight since it is food and that the cache is closed tight because we have put some pictures of Lucky in there for you to see. MAKE SURE TO BRING BUG SPRAY.
