All of the residents of Parry Sound have memories of taking a dip at the Old Town Beach and Bobby is certainly one of them. When Bobby wasn’t at the local rink playing hockey or playing baseball with his friends he might very well be found down here taking a cool summer swim with his friends. Today you will still find the beach (although smaller than it once was), bookended by the Sailing Club and the Coast Guard.
Why a series of Bobby Orr caches? My wife and I met while teaching at Bobby Orr Public School in Oshawa. And while we did not start dating until after she moved to another school, we never would have met unless we had taught together.
