Geocache Description:

Kiln Lane in Epsom is a busy retail / industrial area with lots of activity all day. We wanted to provide some facts about it's history but we couldn't find any - sorry! There are some Roman tile kilns on Ashtead Common though if that helps. The GZ is near a pond between Farriers Road and Stones Road (near the side tracked cache) that is a habitat for the Great Crested Newt (which is quite rare).

To the cache itself:

Whilst it's in a busy location and there will be lots of people about, most of it will be vehicle traffic and the location itself should mean you can easily grab the cache without arousing much suspicion. If you have to wait for muggles to clear out, pop into the cafe at the supermarket for a coffee or something. It's easily accessible, there's no problem getting there and you don't have to leave the footpath to get there. The cache container is a black key safe with a log and small pencil in it.
