The Highgate Tree Frog Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not repaired/replaced it, I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to replace this cache a new listing will now need to be created. Caches are not unarchived due to a lack of maintenance. Please do not e-mail me.

Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed in order to provide a catalogue of inspiring places to visit. We would like for every cache finder to not only log their name and date but also add details of a place of interest that they have been to.

After many years of experiencing the tranquility and visual delights of Highgate Woods, it seemed apt that our first cache should be hidden here. Amongst the beauty of the trees which have provided numerous encounters if you look and see hard enough you will find a surprise that will put a smile on your face. Look around as you walk, listen to the sound of the birds, if your lucky a woodpecker you may hear pecking away at the bark of the four forked tree. Be careful of the many muggles who frequently pass this clearing. Note we've recently replaced the cache with a nice new watertight container... please make sure you click the seals down and replace with lots of suitable leaves and tree barks to hide away from prying eyes...
