Geocache Description:

You are seeking a cammoed pill bottle with log sheet only. BYOP
This is a busy fishing area so stealth might be required.

Mooers Lake is a broad, shallow lake that since the impoundment of the river behind Lock and Dam No. 2 in Hastings looks more like backwaters of the Mississippi River.
The lake is named after fur trader Hazen Mooers, who brought his family to the area in 1838, shortly after Medicine Bottle moved his Dakota village to Pine Bend after ceding the land in The Treaties of 1837.
Grey Cloud Island is named after Hazen's wife, Margaret Mooers, whose Dakota name was Grey Cloud Woman.
