Now don't get me wrong, White Fin started as an innocent little gold fish content with his life but after a while he began to discover his wild side. First, he started trying to jump out of his bowl. And he managed, several times! But it seemed trying to swim out of water was not enough for our young White Fin. After his continued efforts of jumping out the bowl (which eventually became a tank) we decided it was time for him to join the Fish Protection Agency (FPA)
The FPA is an independent organisation that is dedicated to teaching fish how to swim out of water, for as long as possible and making it to more interesting (and usually more treacherous) waters. When young White Fin joined he was positively delighted. In hindsight we should never have let him join.
White Fin had some amazing endeavours in his time as a member of the FPA. His last endeavour entailed him somehow making it all the way to the far away Winmalee to this strange creek. Then he attempted to continue his adventures but somehow got stuck.
In a couple of hours we had realised he was missing! We rushed out to find him. We were lucky to find him just in time! We then took him home, nursed him back to health and promptly locked him inside his tank, never to be released again.
This cache marks the spot where we found White Fin. We suggest you start at the listed trailhead then continue down and walk through sparse bush towards the end. You will need to cross the creek to get to this cache (an easy one step process for us). For this reason, be careful with the geokiddies if taking them.
