This series is dedicated to the great cachers we met on the first Geocaching cruise to Bermuda. Green Eyed Gal is amazing. Although she wasn’t in the best of health on the cruise she cached everywhere, even on the walking cache tour. I am fascinated by Flash Mob Events. I read as many as I can to find out what they plan to do to make the FM memorable. My first and favourite FM was The Old Town Flash Mob Event in 2009 in New Mexico. Everyone had to freeze in position for 5 minutes. Since I was wearing sunglasses I was able to look around me to see how people were acting around us. I was laughing so hard on the inside and hoped that it didn’t show on the outside. Someone was doing Tai Chi, others were throwing a Frisbee and many yards away someone was in the position to catch it, a husband was taking a picture of his wife, another couple had their standard poodle with them and the husband was bent over pretending to be picking up it’s poop. Comments I heard was “this is bizarre”, “is this for real?” “Are they making a movie?” and “are they getting paid for this?”. People waved their hands in front of us and touched us to be sure we were real. When the 5 minutes was up and we “unfroze”, everyone applauded. It was fun. So…when I looked up GreenEyed Gal’s profile and saw that she had hosted a Flash Mob Event I was anxious and intrigued to read all about it. It was called “L.O.S.T. Our Shirts Flash Mob”. Wow!! Now that would be an interesting event indeed! So I looked it up. Darn! LOST was an acronym for Lancaster Organization for Seeking Tupperware. Well, I’m sure they still had a fun time. GreenEyed Gal leaves her signature “green eyes” at caches she has found. So if you open a cache and you see green eyes, you know she has been there!
