Geocache Description:

Huntsman Lake was formed following the construction of the Meander Dam. Enjoy a picnic, canoeing, shore fishing, boat fishing, swimming, mountain bike riding and horse riding in this area. The Lake is a wild brown trout fishery reserved for the use of artificial lures and fly fishing only.  Water from Huntsman Lake flows through the Meander River and provides reliable environmental and irrigation flows year round.

Top spot for a BBQ lunch, there are free gas BBQ's and picnic tables that overlook the lake.  Would highly reccomend to take the family!
Cache is a large sistema with LOTS of swaps! craft items as well as some mini cookbooks etc.
BOOM GATE to picnic/bbq/toliet area is open 8am to 5pm, but the cache is only a 100m walk from the boom gate if it is closed.
