Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a short series of caches placed at locations visited while walking our two Spaniels Harley and Bailey. EYEBALL HAIRY is an anagram of their names which accurately describes them!! These caches can be completed in about an hour and will take you along public footpaths through Millenium Wood, along the sea wall and then follow the path inland, finally returning to Park Drive.

You are looking for a small plastic clip box which contains a log book, pencil and some small items to trade.

Millenium Wood is an extension of Maldon Promenade Park and is a 2.66 hectare wildlife area consisting of woodland plantation, scrub and rough grassland. A mown pathway is maintained through the wood but visitors should note that this is an informal recreation area and the paths are uneven in places and can become muddy in excessively wet weather. You are looking for a small clear plastic clip box in a camouflaged bag containing a log book, pencil and a few small items to trade. There is also a geocaching badge for the first to find. Entry to the wood is via the mown pathway which begins adjacent to the BMX track at Promenade Park. You may need to think like a gopher to retrieve this one!
