This Cache is a nano so you will have to keep your eyes peeled.
The Cache is hidden along the perimeter of Messingham Recreation field on Holme Lane. There’s plenty of parking at the suggested car park.
It’s also a popular dog walk around the perimeter of the field, so don’t be surprised to see a few Muggles with dogs.
You will probably need tweezers to remove & replace the log. To save room on the log you only need to write your initials, the day & month (e.g. CM 29/05).
The Cache site is accessible to wheelchair users although they may require a hand retrieving the Cache.
Please note Messingham’s annual Horse & Foal Show is held on the field on the 1st Sunday of June so the Cache will be unavailable on this day. Occasionally there are other Horse shows which will make it very hard to retrieve the Cache without looking suspicious. On the last Saturday in June an Armed Forces Day event is held on the field so the Cache will also be unavailable on this day.
