A nice walk in the woods just outside of American Camp National Historic Park.
Take a walk on the trails in the Cattle Point Natural Resources Conservation Area to find this cache. Geocaching is not permitted in national parks, but this one will get you to the boundary of American Camp and you can continue your hike into the park to Jackle's lagoon or up Mt. Finlayson. Along the way you will pass the Cattle Point Water District's desalination plant - some of the homes in this area get their water from the sea through this desalination process. A good trail for dogs, but they should be on leashes!
