There many reasons why a good cache can be abandoned. The previous owner looks like they are no longer involved, and the cache was archived due to an error with the coordinates.
So does the cache just sit their as litter or is it given a second chance (recycled).
So what happens, cache visited again. Used pages ripped out. New coordinates lost, so coordinates that where put up as better for the previous cache are used.
Hooray "THE CACHE IS RECYCLED" and a hippy is happy because he has put out a cache that hasn't cost a cent compared to the normal minimum of $10 spent on most caches.
This cache is a short steep walk from above (Range Rd) or below (Basin - Olinda RD where there are other caches).
It should be an easy find a little off the track in a really obvious spot. If you have cached here before try it without the gps.
