Part of the Icelandic Filming Location Geotrail. This cache is hidden at one of the filming locations of Rokland (Stormland) from 2011.
Rokland tells the story of the writer and teacher Böddi. Böddi has a great fascination with the story of Grettir. The movie starts with a feald trip to Drangey, but that is the island that Grettir swam to in the Islandic sagas.
The cache is hidden in Grettis bæli in Drangey. There is only one ferry that has a scheduled ride to Drangey, and it leaves from Reykir (where Grettislaug is) or you could do it like Grettir himself and swim, but I don't recommend that. The ferry costs 8800kr for adult. It leaves at 11:00 from 1. June - 15. August. Outside of that trips can be made by appointment.
