In 1966 when the Arrow Reservoir was being created, BC Hydro constructed a dyke in the Big Eddy to protect low-lying lands in these areas from flooding.
This dyke is now a paved trail that follows the west side of the Columbia River and the north side of Tunkawatla (Tum Tum) River.
This trail is a non motorized trail shared between walkers and cyclists.
This cache is located at the end of the paved portion of the dyke.
Cache contains log only, BYOP.
