Attorney Rodolfo G. Lagoc: Exercise & your brain Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

007 and the PI: I have replaced this cache six or seven times over the two years and one month it has been hidden. I think I outsmarted myself in that no cache appears to be water-tight enough/ able to withstand the elements and muggles.

I will leave this place to someone else who can put in a new and better cache.

I am not sure how the underwater caches survive.

Geocache Description:

One key to a better brain is exercise.

My late father-in-law, Atty. Rodolfo G. Lagoc was a brilliant man. Part of this I attribute to his being so wide read. There was nothing he couldn't debate me on. He'd run circles around my arguments and English wasn't even his primary language!

I think about him a lot as I run Lake Merritt. He had just moved in near the Lake with his wife, Lola Jules when he was taken ill. While he was able to walk some of the Lake, he never made it all the way around.

This geocache series will honor him and some of the achievements from his life. His life was full and rich but not without hardship (i.e., 6 months as a political prisoner under Marcos). To that end, the caches in this series will range from easy to hard. C'mon, we've all found enough 1/1 LPCs, haven't we? In the words of Emeril, let's kick it up a notch! We miss you, Lolo!

For this cache, the idea is simple. Exercise is another way to improve brain function. Don't believe me? Then read it here - http://tinyurl.com/exercise-brain

Having said that, you will exercise getting to this cache. As geocacher Spongehead points out, situational awareness is key as water does not mix well with electronics and geocachers. Says my favorite geocaching witch, water does not go well with a nice new pair of shoes either. Also, iPhone coordinates are not very tight. Use a GPS or your wand. HUA to roherboy and Teampipperice on the co-FTF. Attorney Rodolfo "Lolo" Lagoc would have found this most amusing/ not necessary to do in his honor but would also have cheered the both of you on the co-FTF. HUA! HUA! HUA!
