This is a small 35mm camouflaged container that contains only a log. Please bring your own pen.
The old Janeway Hospital was the province's only chidlren's hospital. It was founded in 1966 using the former Fort Pepperel base hospital. The Janeway hospital was relocated in 2001 to the new facility, annexed to the Health Sciences Centre. The old Janeway was demolished in 2008. All that remains is an excavated site protected by a wire fence.
The cache is a 35mm camouflaged container that is hidden in a deciduous tree across the street from the old Janeway site. The tree is close to the road and several metres up hill from a nearby home. The tree at the original location was completely uprooted by hurricane Leslie. Please be careful and remember you are in somebody else's neighbourhood. Stealth and courtesy required.
