Devised by Cheltenham Borough Council, the Cheltenham Circular Walk follows a route of approx 26 miles and gives wonderful views of the Cotswolds escarpment. The walk starts and ends at Pittville Park and passes Cheltenham Racecourse and Dowdeswell Reservoir.
The Cheltenham Circular Caching Challenge follows this walk. It starts at Cheltenham Race Course with #1, and the caches are numbered clockwise. But you could of course start and stop anywhere along the route.
If you can't manage it in a day, then why not stay around the area. Cheltenham Borough Council have a tourist information office
As you work your way round the Cheltenham Circular Caching Challenge, collect numbers for this bonus cache.
We have hidden caches with different numbers in different parts of the route, so in theory you need to find caches along the whole route before being able to find the bonus cache.
The final location is at N 51° [EC+J].[AD+G+C] W 002° [B-K].[BD-H(G-F-F)-K]
You are looking for a flm canister on a safety rope!. The area can get very muddy and therfore slippery. Please take care, especially near the water. Not suitable for puchchairs or wheelchair.
Please park considerably if you need to park near by.
Replaces again so please put back very carefully. It is very muddy
