From the parking area head down the same road which you drove in on. Yes it turns to a gravel road DO NOT DRIVE BACK THIS!!! PLEASE WALK!!! The stream will be on your left when approaching the tunnels. DO NOT GO DOWN THE DRIVEWAY!!!
Everyone in town use to come here as kids, teenagers, or (even to this day) adults. We use to come here from a day at the park or just a walk from in town. We'd swim here for hours on hours with friends, family and our dogs. As you can see from the abundant graffiti that people have been coming here for YEARS! So enjoy your walk as we use to as kids, or adults ;-)
A few things about this cache.... YOU WILL GET WET!!! To even start the cache you'll have to walk through AT least 3" of water UNLESS there has been a recent rain storm. When we placed the cache the water was almost knee high on me (near a foot) so come prepared, or just jump right in like we use to do! The water doesn't flow very fast IF it hasn't rained. You could carry your bike across the water like we do sometimes and ride through the tunnels. WATCH FOR THE RUST STAINED WATER SPOTS IN THE TUNNELS!!! IT WILL STAIN YOUR CLOTHES! So if you ride, take caution and if you walk, take caution, it'll still stain your pants if it splashes up. There are also VERY SLIPPERY ALGEA SPOTS! It's like walking on ice barefoot!
You're looking for a normal size cache container with room for trades. BUT as with alot of our caches, THERE'S A TWIST! Throughout the 3 tunnels there are BLUE MYSTERY QUESTION MARKS 12" in size and roughly 12 FEET off the ground ON BOTH SIDES. These numbers are in UV GLOW PAINT AND A UV FLASHLIGHT OR NORMAL FLASHLIGHT IS REQUIRED TO FIND THEM. Depending how strong your UV light is a flashlight may be best now the numbers are so high up. These 10 numbers represent the 10 numbers that you'll need to get for the FINAL CACHE LOCATION! Don't yall just love us!
Here's the thing though, you have to TRY and figure out the NUMEROUS configurations for the FINAL cache location. Here's a hint, the N is 41 and the W is 80 HAHAHAHAHA!!
