Geocache Description:

Please do not hunt for this cache until after 11am July 14th in conjunction with Wetland Wonderland Geocaching Adventure event GC3K907 Thanks

I have contour lines on my shell that that resemble a map! It’s quite handy, as I never need to ask for directions. I’m a great swimmer, and spend most of my time in water. I have very strong jaws to crush mollusks. Many of us live along the Great Lakes and some areas of the United States. We tend to keep a low profile, and have not been studied much in Ontario.
Shoreline development and increased human disturbance have caused our population to decline. Turtles are now protected in Ontario under the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act.

This is a series of six geocaches. Validate your passport by answering the question for each find and using the punch located in each cache.  Return your passport to the Lock Station at Lock 9 to redeem for a geocoin!!  Passports are available for the series here in  English or French.   English Passport  or French Passport

As per the Parks Canada caching policies, please do not leave anything in the cache, trade items are NOT permitted.
