Geocache Description:

Upon looking here last year for "Duck, Duck, Goose" with my dad, I was amazed at the beauty of this park and the great trails. I knew that I need to place a cache here so others could see how pretty this preserve is.
****Congrats to Skulldagger57 for the FTF!! ****

This container is a simple lock - lock, regular. Tons of room for goodies. It's filled with SAWG for the kids and I also threw in some seed caches for you to take and place on your own. So come by and enjoy the trails and scenery.

In 2015, the Forest Preserve District will be celebrating our 100th Anniversary. We are currently celebrating the 100th Anniversary with a Geocaching Extravaganza by featuring new and existing caches around the county. Each of these caches will contain a unique sticker and/or a passport booklet from the Forest Preserve District. Geocachers will find these caches, and place one sticker from the cache into their passport. Once they collect five of the eight caches, they can turn their book in at select Forest Preserve Visitor Centers for a prize which will be a Forest Preserve District Geocoin. We plan on featuring new and current caches each year, which will lead to new coins until the 100th Anniversary in 2015. Currently the 2012 and 2013 passports and geocoins are still available. Please contact geocache@dupageforest.com for more information.
