An easy park and grab. You've seen these before.
This cache is in response to That's My Story Master Cache, GC2ZQFN. I was introduced to this sport by my granddaughter, Kandice, back in 2008, and my wife had just recently bought me a Magellen Explorist 200 for Christmas. It was fun to play with but did not work well for hiking as there was no topography features on it. When Kandice told me about geocaching I realized it would be perfect for that use. Well at the time I was living in Corinth and found a cache at a local vetern's park. It was Tank You Very Much. I had to go back three times before I found it. That last time I told myself that I was not going to leave until I signed the log. It started to rain in the middle of my search and I got soaked, but didn't care, I was on a mission. I literaly crawled under the tank and made the find. The log was soaked, I was soaked, and my wife realized I was nuts!
Then life got in the way and according to my statistics, I went on a 702 day slump. It was not until December 2010 that I again picked up the gpsr and went in search of caches. Since then I have have amassed a modest count, but am seriously looking forward to the day I get my 1000th cache! Then on to 2000! The amazing thing about geocaching is that it has taken me to places that I never knew existed and have met some wonderful new friends. I look forward to meeting more at time goes on.
