Geocache Description:

This historic non-motorized trail is great for walking, biking, snow-shoeing, and x-country skiing. Parking is available at various access points along the trail.
For those that don't want to hike/bike the trail in both directions there is bus service available.

The entire length of the Slocan Rail Trail is 50 kms with a total change of elevation of just 41 meters. Most of the trail parallels the beautiful Slocan River.

This cache is a camoed film canister located just off the Slocan Rail Trail. Please bring a pencil and replace the cache exactly as it is.
