Geocache Description:

Was in the area and wanted to show my mom what Geocaching is all about. Looked for ones at this park since it has been a favorite location of mine since I was a child. Found that the two that were her before have both been archived, so I jumped at the chance to set some new ones!

I have been coming to this park since I was old enough to walk. It was in it's glory days when I was about 10 years old. This side of the park is most well known for the spectacular Christmas display, they cover the island with, that this bridge goes to. If you have never seen it you should try and plan a trip here this Christmas! Also the public pool I swam at for fifteen years is just across the street, which was a great way to cool down after a long fishing trek around the many islands that make up this park.
