This cache has been placed for the CARL4 event. This cache was released to the public on Thursday June 14th. The cache should not be located prior to 6 p.m. Friday June 15. The caches for the CARL4 event are released early so that the geocaching community has an opportunity to plan their routes prior to the event start.
Best to access this cache from the North West corner of the Alberta Water and Environmental Science Building parking lot (Lot M). This parking lot requires a parking permit during regular work hours 8:00am - 5:00pm, Mon-Fri, after which time you can park anywhere. Customers may purchase pay and display permits using coins or credit cards (located on the East side of the parking lot). Parking is provided for time periods of 1 hour to all day.
The U of L Grounds & Maintenance managers are aware of this hide and would encourage cachers to use the foot paths that currently exist. The cache is located just off the path (within 2ft) so please try not to trample down the surrounding vegetation.
The cache is located in a grove of trees just north of a small wetland area on the U of L campus. While here listen for the variety of different song birds that frequent the wetland habitat
