Geocachers of Ashland and beyond assemble! This will be an Event Cache in Brookside Park (the same place as last time) for International Geocaching Day on August 18th from 1:30-4:00 P.M. Just for logging online that you attended, you get an online souvenir for free!
Snacks and drinks will be provided (not a full meal) and you are encouraged to bring new people to learn about the wonderous world of geocaching. The reason the terrain and difficulty are 2's is because, and this is weather permitting, there will be a cache hike that leads to each of the geocaches throughout Brookside Park starting at 1:45 untill whenever we get done (the time depends on if any cachers haven't found some of the caches and would like to) so plan accordingly. The hike will be optional however, if some cachers would just like to stay back and talk that is fine too however that is what we will do when we return as well as eat and play a few geocaching games I have created (prizes will be awarded). If anyone needs additional help or doesn't go on the hike and would like help finding a cache of mine or any in Brookside I will be glad to help you. I look foward to seeing you there!
