This cache has been archived.

imanxman: Okay, looks like everyone is ashore that's goin' ashore.

Thanks again for a fun meet! I'm looking at when I can do one again, but for now I'm just looking at early August, maybe a Saturday evening this time.

Thanks all!

Geocache Description:

Event cache on 6/29 at 8pm (to 9pm) at the Starbuck's near the intersection of Western & 25th St. The only activity planned is drinking coffee.

"...and then a lone stranger came to us and showed us the way, before disappearing again into the darkness..." - Not a movie or Bible quote, just me being silly.

The third in the trilogy of meet & greet event caches dedicated to Zor, an east-coast cacher who came HERE to hold an event for us: GC3DMV4 What a nice guy!

This can be a chance to put faces to names, kibbitz on caches, and someone at Zor's event even pointed out they never get a good chance to ask anyone how to use GSAK, run macros, and make cool profile pages, so I'll try to remember to bring my laptop for the hour, since there is free wi-fi at Starbucks anyway! weehoo!

The coordinates will take you to a different Starbucks this time, this one is near the intersection of Western Ave and 25th St, in San Pedro near the southeastern section of PV. The coordinates should take you right to the front door of this LITTLE Starbucks, but there are several tables outside on the patio by the coords. (Next time I am thinking of moving to the Starbucks in the Golden Cove Plaza, on the backside of the PV peninsula.)

Time of event is simply 8pm-9pm. Caching before or afterward is optional, I may not depending on other demands on my time. There does happen to be a very hard to find geocache within eyesight of the tables here (yikes) and another a tenth of a mile away on the other side of the plaza, both of which haven't been found lately...so this one is just ripe for 'field trips' afterward as the crowd thins, but this crowd can also provide cover! ;)
