To get to this cache, drive 6 miles west out of Encampment on highway 70. Turn left on forest service road 550 and drive another 0.2 miles. From the parking lot you can either hike the 1.75 miles to the trailhead, or drive an ATV or other 4x4 with a good amount of clearance as the road is rocky, and has deep ruts in some places. From the trailhead, it is another 1.2 miles to Green Mountain Falls. This cache is on the edge of the Huston Wilderness area boundary and is only about 0.1 miles from the falls. Happy Caching!
