Join the summer staff of the Manuels River for an afternoon of geocaching to be enjoyed by both
the seasoned cacher as well as the beginner. There will be new cache coordinates
released, refreshments provided and prizes which will be drawn for at the event.
Manuels River Linear Park is located in the Town of Conception Bay South, just a
short drive from St. John’s. It is one of the oldest river systems in North America and
measures approximately 14km in length, running from its headwaters at Thomas Pond
down into Conception Bay. The park’s trail system meanders for over 5km along one of
the most picturesque river valleys in Eastern Newfoundland.
The Manuels River Natural Heritage Society is a non-profit organization
dedicated to the preservation and conservation of the natural river system. The main
entrance to the trails and Chalet are located on Route 60, just West of Manuels River
Bridge.
This is a family friendly event, so grab your GPS and enjoy a great summer’s
afternoon caching in the Town of Conception Bay South. Rain or shine, the hunt will go
on - we hope to see you there!
