Geocache Description:


This cache is part of the Pvt. George Shannon Trail caches that will lead you throughout Northeastern Nebraska. Pvt. Shannon became lost near here while traveling with Lewis and Clark and the Corp of Discovery in 1804.
 
 

Two horses having strayed from the Corps on the 28th of August, Shannon was sent to search for them. After he had found them he attempted to rejoin the group; but seeing some tracks, which must have been those of Indians he concluded that the Corps was ahead of him. 

This cache should be a quick pick.
