Louis De Geer d. ä. började bygga Finspångs slott 1668. Det ligger på en holme omfluten av Finspångsån. Runt slottet med sitt orangeri och lusthus växte bruket upp med smedjor, kanongjuteri och bruksgata. Här finns också en lekpark.
