A traditional geocache in the beautiful estuaries and marshes of the Connecticut River in Old Lyme. This is very close to our old "Dumb and Dumber" Cache but hopefully hidden in a more secure, less poison ivy infested location! Enjoy a nice paddle over from either Smith's Landing or the Town Landing in Old Lyme.
The cache is located on a rocky overlook of the Black River to the East and the Great Island to the West. Cache container is a 1.5 quart tupperware container. As noted by previous cachers, we recommend that you come on a rising or high tide, low tide might deliver more of a mud-sucking-off-shoes experience than the advertised paradise!
