Geocache Description:

I thought that it was fitting to put out a cache at these beautiful waterfalls in thanks to Sporty for having put out a similar Cache which gave me my 1500th find. I include a really fun You Tube link of some guys enjoying the falls in their own unique way. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAFptHT-UpM)
I would not recommend trying it unless you are qualified!

The Trail head path takes you to the top section of the falls but it is well worth while to take the trail downstream to enjoy all of the falls as they drop quite a ways over their length. When I placed the Cache, I was somewhat shy on items for the Cache but will return in short order to stock it properly. I was fortunate to have been given a very nice lapel pin from a friend which will serve as a FTF token. I am not overly concerned with the lack of items for the Cache as the location is well worth the placement.
This waterfall is located on the International Border between Canada and the United States near the tiny border community of Forest City. From the Trans Canada Highway take the Canterbury turnoff, route 122 and drive out past Canterbury to Fosterville. At Fosterville drive out toward Forest City on the Forest City Rd. The access road is approximately 13 kilometres just over Pemberton Ridge. At the bottom of Pemberton Ridge is the access road on the left. (a sign says “Spednic Lake Rd”) Drive in on the rough road 1.5 kilometres to a secondary access road on the right. Approximately 650 metres along this woods road is the canoe portage trail (Trail Head Point) to the top of the falls and the lake.
Please make sure that you do not cross the river as the opposite side is the United States and you may find yourself dealing with the US Border Patrol.
I found some interesting information on the falls that can be found at http://waterfallsnewbrunswick.ca/?p=947
