The concrete pad you will park on was once a repair station run by Georgia Pacific, it was cheaper and easier to operate a repair station up here then it was to send crews out whenever there was a problem. And even though you can't tell anymore due to nature reclaiming the land, there was also a small hatchery in the creek beside you.
The "road" you'll be walking on is fairly flat and should be easy, just past ground zero is an active stream gauging station that's been in place since at least the 40's. Remember to take only pictures and nothing else.
