Myrtos, a small but fascinating village on the island of Crete, is the starting point for a short Geocaching in the surrounding area.
Please follow the usual rules and keep particularly in mind the place's special meaning. Because it is often very hot, the morning or late afternoon is recommended rather than the blazing hours of the midday when the sun is strong. Water and sunscreen are highly suggested for the trip. Though there will be no climbing, solid footwear, or at least hiking sandals, is necessary because the ground is stony and partially overgrown with plants.

Start at waypoint N 35° 00.243' E 025° 35.084'. Here you will perhaps still be able to get some water and a small snack.
From there to the next waypoint N 35° 00.248' E 025° 35.018'. How many stairs lead to the waypoint? Count = A.
Now on to the third waypoint! N 35° 00.(35*A+2)' E 025° 35.(32*A-1).
How many intact yellow pieces are located on the north side? Count = B.
How many “small churches” can be found on the east side? Count = C.
Control Sum: B*C:A=10
And now onward to the cache: N 35° 00.(10*B-A*C-17)' E 025° 35.(10*B-A*C+2*C).

Mirtos, ein kleiner irgendwie faszinierender Ort auf Kreta ist Ausgangspunkt zu einem kurzen Geocaching in der Umgebung.
Bitte beachtet die gewöhnlichen Regeln und hier insbesondere die besondere Bedeutung des Ortes. Da es oft sehr warm ist, sind die Morgenstunden oder der späte Nachmittag eher zu empfehlen als in der prallen Sonne mittags zu schmoren. Wasser für unterwegs wie auch Sonnenschutz sind sinnvoll. Es wird zwar nicht geklettert, festes Schuhwerk oder zumindest Treckingsandalen sind von Nöten, der Untergrund ist steinig und zum Teil mit Pflanzen zugewuchert.

Nun geht es weiter zum dritten Wegpunkt! N 35° 00.(35*A+2)' E 025° 35.(32*A-1)
Wieviele gelbe intakte Teile befinden sich auf der nördlichen Seite? Anzahl = B
Wieviele "kleine Kirchen" befinden sich auf der östlichen Seite? Anzahl = C
