Geocache Description:

This is an easy to find, fun cache for the kids and everyone, although not handicap accessible it is easy to get to and is starting out filled with party stuff from a birthday party. This is close to home and at least in the summer months will be monitored closely.

This cache is in an area known as Case's Meadow. The road did not go through this area originally but stopped on both sides. A stream meandered through here and the house to the north on the hill was the Case home. During the summer months the people in town would pasture their cows here and they would send their children night and morning to milk the cows. Just to the north east was a generating plant that was one of the first to produce electricity in St Joseph county.
