Church, Chapel & Beyond begins in the village of Brynna, taking you through pleasant (and relatively wide) lanes, through the hamlet of Rhiwceiliog and onwards towards the outskirts of the small town of Pencoed.
Beginning near St.Peter's church in Brynna (where there may already be a Church Micro to find) and utilising the handy public carpark at that location - detailed in the extra waypoint on Cache No.1, expect a walk of approximately 2 miles through quite quiet and easily navigable back roads.
Although no more than a half dozen vechicles passed us whilst setting the series, care should obviously be taken - especially with mini cachers!
They can be hunted either on foot or taken as a series of cache-and-dash finds using your own geo-transport.
None are difficult to find or retrieve (we hope) and it's a good location for some laid-back caching. A variety of container sizes with swaps in each one.
There is also a (sort of) bonus cache which takes you a little way out of the main linear series called "The Road to Mynydd-y-Gaer" which was placed at the same time. Ideal if you require a brisk uphill walk to break up the flat(ish) strolling.
#1 - Although at two months old, our littlest cacher is a veteran of more than 100 finds, this was her first hide. :-) *** Congratulations to Sniffadogz - FTF! ***
