The cache is very easily accesible from St Michael's Close. It is situated outside the churchyard on the boundary of the property, so there is no need to go into the graveyard to look for it. The container is a magnetic nano hidden out of sight. There is no room for trade items or a pen, so please bring your own. Please put the cache back exactly where you found it. Enjoy!
Interesting facts:
- The bell tower dates to the 15th century, but most of the church is Victorian
- There has been a church on the site since Saxon times.
- Sir Francis Galton is buried outside the church. He is the cousin of Charles Darwin and is known for introducing fingerprints, barometric maps, eugenics and discovering how to make the perfect cup of tea.
- In the church is the tomb of Thomas Spencer (died 1630) who was an ancestor of the late Princess Diana of Wales.
