This cache was placed by a couple of just past middle aged dudes with bad legs, failing eyesight and a mischievous appreciation for caches hidden in the great outdoors. Equipped with one set of shared spectacles and a couple of kayaks, we placed these caches along the lakeshore with pleasant thoughts of our friends who also enjoy a day away.

Not so long ago this cache would have been accessible only by boat, kayak or canoe; although you could have tried the short swim to the island. But with the lake level being lowered, permanently, you can now wade to the island, stepping on or between the rocks.
