HORTO FLORESTAL – TRILHA DA CACHOEIRA
O Horto Florestal ocupa uma área que corresponde a um terço de Campos do Jordão, são 8340 hectares e é o Parque Estadual mais antigo do Brasil. Uma da maiores reservas de árvores coníferas de São Paulo.
No Parque existe uma infinidade de atrações para o lazer e para relaxar.Bosques para pic-nic, trilhas, lanchonetes, capela, arborismo, trenzinho, viveiro de plantas, e, se tiver sorte, verá uma variedade de pássaros e borboletas ao longo das trilhas.
Tudo é muito bem sinalizado e com placas educativas em favor do meio ambiente.
É um passeio para um dia inteiro, tanto para adultos, como para as crianças.
Você poderá ver também uma serraria dentro do Horto Florestal, que é movida por uma antiga roda d'água e tudo isso em meio a muito verde e muitas flores.

Essa trilha da Cachoeira tem 4 700 metros (ida e volta) e é de fácil acesso. O visual do caminho é muito lindo e agradável. No final vai encontrar uma cachoeira onde, se tiver coragem, poderá se banhar, mas a água é bem gelada. Durante o trajeto você vai passar por uma Estação de Truticultura e Salmonicultura do Instituto de Pesca e também por residências de trabalhadores do Parque, construídas de maneira rústica. Um interessante play ground rústico e educativo, voltado para o meio ambiente, é uma parada interessante para as crianças.
O cache é um pote camuflado, de tamanho pequeno, contendo o logbook.
GARDEN FOREST - TRAIL OF WATERFALL
The Forest Garden occupies an area corresponding to one third of Campos do Jordão (8.340 hectares) and is the oldest state park in Brazil. It’s one of the largest reserves of coniferous trees of São Paulo.
In the park there are plenty of attractions for leisure and relax. Forests for picnic, hiking trails, snack bars, a chapel, arborism, little train, greenhouse, and, if you’re lucky, you could see a variety of birds and butterflies along the trails.
Everything is very well signposted and there are signs in favor of the educational environment.
It is a ride for a whole day, both for adults as for children.
You can also see a sawmill in the Garden Forestry, which is driven by an old waterwheel. Everything is the surrounded by greenery and flowers.
The admission is paid. But it's worth it.

During the tour you will pass through a station for farming trout and salmons and also the residences of employees of the Park, built in rustic way. An interesting and educational rustic playground is an interesting stop for children.
