A cache in a lock and lock container, in a not so accessible place. No straight shot from the trail. Choose your way to the cache carefully. Do not attempt this at night.
Here's my first attempt to place a cache in a more remote place. I'm fairly certain nobody buys a GPSr with hopes and dreams of finding film canisters in the parking lot of the local shopping center. There are many levels of enjoment to this silly game and that happens to be a popular one for cachers attempting to meet challenges, or who have limited abilities or time. Although I enjoy that part of the game from time to time, the satifaction of a nice hike and time in the wild is what I like the most. I personally would like to see more caches in parks like this. I wish caches would be hidden more often that are literally, just off the main trail (so someone with limited abilities or time could find some caches in the "wild" without having to bushwhack to every container). Anyhow, here's a tougher one, in a beautiful spot, nestled between two terrific caches. The staircase will be slippery no matter if you choose to start low and go up, or high and go down. The terrain difficulty may go to a five depending on the time of year.
