abacadie: This cache was placed before the flood of 2013 and was fairly close to the designated trail at that time. Since then, a new trail has been developed and the cache hasn't been found so I am archiving it for good.

In my opinion, there is no better exercise than Geocaching in the mountains. If you love hiking, you'll love looking for this cache.
Old Baldy Ridge is a great Shoulder Season hike, involving a 16 km roundtrip and over 860m elevation gain. The veiws from the top are amazing with Mt Allan and Nakiska to the north-west, and the entire range of mountains east and west of Hwy 40 visible. Mt Old Baldy is just to the right. Flowers abound in late June / early July, and the scenery is also great in the Fall.
The cache is a medium size L&L with a Bison Tube and Stress ball for FTF. Feel free to exchange your own trading items.
