Mission Sylvester Run #1 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wizard of Ooze: As the cache owner has not indicated that they have visited the cache location to replace it if missing, perform needed maintenance, or verify that it is still there within the requested time period, I am regretfully archiving the cache to clear it from the active cache database and open the area to new caching opportunities.

Please don’t post new notes on your archived listing as it won’t be forwarded to me and I won’t see it. If you need to contact me, please do so by emailing me through the contact link on my geocaching.com profile page or through my website www.wizardofooze.com

Thank you for your contributions to geocaching, and we hope to see you actively geocaching once again in the near future.

Geocache Description:

The first of our start of a run up the Sylvester Forest Service Road. There are a few caches in the area, but mainly it's totally untapped to the caching world. Have fun!!!!

Sylvester Road is one of our favorite ATV areas. There are other caches in the area, but really, it needs more. This series of caches that we've started are all along the main Forest Service Road (FSR).

Please pull to the side of the gravel roads to let other drivers, ATV's, Motor Bikes and Dune Buggies drive by. This area is very busy, especially on the weekends for ATV's, 4x4'ing, fishing, and other loud hobbies people have. During the week, it is an active logging road, so please drive safely, and stay to the sides. Other than that, this is a beautiful area of nature. Great views, hidden lakes, great trails for hiking or riding. And lots of places for picnics with the families.

Please do take precautions as there are wild animals in the area, as you are in the wilderness, with bears, deer, coyotes and cougars around.

Once you found the cache, please replace it exactly the way you found it. As this can be a high muggle traffic area, once again, especially on weekends.

Have fun, and enjoy the run!!!
