Animal Farm Traditional Cache
MaartinF: The old carbide bin has collapsed completely and has filled with rampant nature. Due to the lack of a suitable alternative hide, I'm regretfully having to archive this one

This is a fine point to start a walk round the other caches in this area, and a fine point to start your exploration of this little walked part of the North Western YORKSHIRE Dales
Bullpot Farm is a key area for any cavers in this country, being at the heart of the Easegill System and home of the Red Rose Caving and Potholing Club. As a result, the farm can be quite busy with non-caching folk (I hate the term Muggles) at weekends as people go out exploring the uncharted ground beneath your feet.
The cache is a micro located off the track from the farm, and please note you DO NOT need to enter any buildings or farm enclosures to attain it. Furthermore, you need not bother with any dry stone walls, buildings or gateways... because it isn't there.
A word of warning, although you are on tarmac right to the parking location, in the winter months the farm road can become very treacherous beyond Brownthwaite Farm, and should be attempted only by four wheel drive vehicles with proper tyres and the knowledge of how to use them!
