Crowesfeat30, Blue, and I were out here to get the "Rough Around the Edges" cache and saw this beautiful, brand new bridge leading off towards the river. After we found the cache we HAD to see where it went. We got to the end of the bridge and looked off to the north. The trail goes on, but we didn't have time to go farther. This is looking like a great place for some caches we said. But we only had one with us, so we found the last spot to sit and placed this cache down low, right next to the end. Perhaps you can bring a cache or two out here and place them along the trail too.
From looking at the area on Google Earth, this is a section of the Mississippi River Greenway, and runs up to the casino where it joins the River Des Peres Greenway. So bring your bikes or just walk along it, it looks like a great trail for all.
I would almost rate this a 1 terrain level, but the grade from the span of the bridge down to the cache might make this a bit difficult.Please replace the cache back in it's hole, out of sight. Thank you!
